Nearly 2 Dozen Questions and Answers……..Day #2 Trip 14

Today there are so many amazing pictures i figured the only way to show them all is with a little game of question and answers.

less than 10 feet

Question 3

Epa:  “How many people here today are named Emmanuel  (God With Us)?”

Question 4

Question Katy:  “Who is Gabbi hugging?”

That would be her sister Evan and brother Justus their family has been sponsoring since Ambush was here in 2008.

Question 5

Entire Team:  “Who is the cute little purple kid/”

His name is Felix

Mark "Hey Felix come here, wanna ride on my neck?."

Epa:  “Felix isn’t going to last another day without having a sponsor. He is a popular man.”

Question 6

Page:  “Who is sitting with Driver Emmy?”

Epa:  Why that is his eldest daughter Gift.  She is now attending PCM Mbarara and available for sponsorship. Did you know that our main school was given a commended rating by scoring the highest marks in the entire Mbarara district for the P7 students sitting for their exams? That means that they have done better than the children at ALL of the other schools in the state we operate, Mbarara district.   I can’t tell you how amazing these teachers are.  They are working in buildings where rain enters from the roof and windows when the wind comes, such a humble place, but the biggest reason they are doing so well is this place has a different kind of wind,  the Holy Spirit. Superdad and Supermom have taught these teachers and these children to love the Lord with all their mind, heart and soul.  I am not surprised one bit and neither would anyone who has ever sat in one of these classes.

Question 7

Ambush “I remember this teacher, what is her name?”

This is teacher Petua. She is smiling so big because she is getting married soon.

Epa:  “what you may not know about Petua is she is the only teacher that stayed with Pastor Emmy back in 2007-2008 when all of the teachers went all year with no pay. She was the only one to have faith to stay.  PCM now employs over 50 people in Uganda and nearly half of them are teachers.  We have a long line of teacher applicants and everyday someone is knocking on our door asking if they can work for us.  We haven’t missed a single pay period since May 2008. God has been so faithful to us. Thank you sponsors for changing the lives of staff like Petua. She is full of joy as you can see.”

Question 8

Kyomu  “Dad look at this kid……he is so cute!”

Epa: Why this is Christopher. He looks like he could work on Wall Street. He even buttons his top button. Great kid without a sponsor.

Question 9

Emily “Have you seen my dad?”

Epa: He is getting a tour of the new multipurpose building. This project is being led by Nigel Whitaker and his great team from PCM Wales. We want to have a building where all of the children can come together and meet under one roof and meet together with the church on sunday. The foundation has been laid, the walls are going up and a second story is being planned under the direction of master builder Charles. We are praying for the completion of this building. We will be worshipping here tomorrow. Can't wait, we have only been using this site for worship since August.

Question 1o

Ambush: Can yall do this? If you want a great picture, just stand next to Enos and smile..

John: "You are right Ambush"

Question 11

Epa:  “What is Ambush doing now (caution this question could be repeated frequently) ?”

Gabbi : "He is teaching the children the OKAY cheer. "

Question 12

Epa ” slight change of schedule.  We need to go to the new land at Katyazo because the fish guy is there delivering our 2 month old tilapia hatchlings.”

Epa  “we will see those next week at Queen Elizabeth National Park.”

Question 13

Emily ” Is my dad eating this tilapia?”

Epa "we have 1000 fish but we really need them in the pond to grow."

Emily “Dad you didn’t eat it did you?”

Ambush: " No Emily, he just misses his wife like the rest of us."

Question 14

Kyomu:  “I can’t understand what Emmy is saying this old man’s name is that brought the fish.”

Then Emmy said something like "Minne Moo" and followed that with "hand me the Bible. We just been reading about Jesus multiplying the loaves and fishes. Emmy said "here it is Genesis 5:27 "Altogether Methusaleh lived 969 years and then he died."

That's hilarious. So glad we got to meet Methusaleh.

Thank you ladies for helping us. We have waited a year for these ponds to fill with rain water. God is so good to answer our prayers.

Thank you Neisha Rudd at Today’s Vision, Shaun and Abbie Halberstadt, and Bill Kirby. This day would have never happened without you. Over 1000 fish were put in two tilapia ponds.  Next year the children should be eating a lot more fish.  Mukama Asiimwe.  Praise God.

Question 15

What would you title this picture?

5 Supergirls and a Supermom

Question 16

Epa  “Emmy whose cow is that next to you with the horns?”

Emmy "this is Pastor Charles' cow. He lives with the rest of the PCM cows on our land."

Question 17

Kyomu  “Why is Driver Emmy  calling this man “milky boy?”

Emmy " This is Godfrey. Everyday he rides his bike from Mbarara to Katyazo (19 miles) and milks the cows so our PCM Mbarara children will have milk to drink. Tnen he returns for the 19 mile journey.

Epa ” I now have a new project.  Godfrey we are going to get you a motorbike to make this milk run.  May the Lord richly bless you for your service to these orphan children.”

Kyomu:  “Dad he is ripped.”

Ambush “Dads don’t have muscles like those.”

Ants. We have 68 acres here at Katyazo. Our plan is to start our high school in January of 2012 and we are currently conducting a brick campaign to help us accomplish this great work for the Lord. Someday we hope to have 1000 orphans and needy children running up and down this hill.

Epa “What building are we standing in?

This is the boy's dorm.

Epa:  “We have three buildings currently going up in construction. A boy’s dorm, a girls dorm and 4 classrooms.”

Question 20

Patient’s parent to Epa in his doctor’s office:  “What is one of the  best things  you can do for your daughter?”
